The RDG is an official branch that concerns itself with actual threats to State Security. The RDG is usually only brought in on extreme cases, and their operations tend to be very brutal and cold-blooded. Spanning in countless joint operations with the Expansion Corps, the RDG are a group of extremely zealous and brainwashed troops, deployed from RAPTURE. Intertwined with the Security Councils, little to no orders are given from Human-run agencies.
Established directly after the finishing touches of RAPTURE were put into place, before police roles were filled out, the RDG served as a temporary Police Unit, later being dissolved after the Police Departments were formed and the duty was filled.
After being reassigned, the RDG is not the last line of defense, but is one of the last measures before the more, genocidal, methods are used. It’s brutality and capacity for cold-blooded work is considered controversial, though it’s problematic nature is disregarded when compared to its counterparts.
The Agibol Brigade, named after the biblical angel of God, tracks down and destroys any open groups with the general idea to repel, or loosen, the States control.
Specializing in Counter Terrorism and Dismantlement, the Agibol Unit is barely ever seen in public, though it’s scandalous history of massacres leaves fear amongst civilians and outsiders alike.
While most of the members inside the unite are Synthetic, it’s rare occasional human requires vast amounts of ideological reinforcement, and extremely high physical standards.
It’s history began after multiple Anti-Government organizations were established, and made their message clear. RAPTURE, upon even hearing the words of it, was tired of the idea. Operations comprised of mass-murder and genocide became ordinary to the organization. Compounds, once identified, were overrun with lightning-fast deployments of the Agibol Brigade.
The Agibol Brigade is almost always seen in the Outer-Edge, patrolling and finding the hapless souls who dare try and sneak their way out of Shiloh.
The Expansion Corps is the Military Branch of the Shiloh Security Forces. Deployed within most of the war-torn lands, are the constantly searching soldiers belonging to the Expansion Corps. Created right after the Awakening Period was over, any surviving military forces from old-world governments were abducted after the wars were over.
They were subjected to experimental mind control programs and behavioral chips that completely changed the way one’s way of thinking. There are no personalities to the Expansion Corps, no individuals, only the RAPTURE in the form of a body.
The Expansion Corps are mass-produced hivemind function soldiers. Usually patrolling, their sole directive is establishing fit areas for expansion of RAPTURES’s Data-Hive and more cities like Shiloh. Their Kill-On-Sight methods make them the one thing make it a need to stay out of their sight.
On the prowl for any civilization that isn’t directly controlled by RAPTURE, the Expansion Corps will stop at nothing to take over and control all facets of wasteland life. Their campaign, starting fairly recent, makes control over the wasteland something to be desired for. There are accounts of Expansion Corps soldiers going rogue, but the numbers remain low.
The only all-human agency within Security, is the SPD. Bent on enforcing the law, the SPD’s presence in Shiloh is tremendous.
With the only real problem in Middle-Weight is narcotic and vice, the SPD is more tasked to patrolling Outer-Edge, due to the large crime rate of Outer-Edge. On the streets of Outer-Edge, a pair of Patrol Officers, or a zooming squad car, has become a common site to the citizens that live there.
The SPD are also seen as humanitarian aid and support, rather than just being State-ran Security, and they pride themselves on that idea, even if its not a whole lot. The SPD has gotten the nickname ‘Tool’ by most of Shiloh’s citizens. Condemned for not taking action, but mutually respected for not going actively out of their way to cause misfortune for their citizens. The SPD, while humanitarian, have little to no mercy to violent criminals.
The unchanging state of the political climate has become vital in keeping a ‘Us against Them’ mindset within Shiloh, it keeps everyone scared and anxious. Directly following this mentality, is the general fear of police by most desensitized citizens.
The Keitekina are a gendarme made for occupying Zones and policing them while the Expansion Corps is hard at work taking over parts of the wasteland. The Keitekina is made for the harsh environments of the wasteland, specifiying in elite policing.
The keitekina are not to be messed with. Their quick response times and disregard for de-escalation make them exceptionally brutal. They are within the Occupied Zones for one sole reason. To keep the borders placed by the Expansion Corps up. Their similar style to the Agibol Brigade gives the same fear factor. The glowing red eyes and metal playing. They however, are less elite and efficient compared to the Brigade.
The Keitekina is compromised mostly of either complete tools to RAPTURE, or synthetic humans. Both, equally as brainwashed. Finding inside-men within the Keitekina is extremely hard. Their thick skulls and blind nationalism are hard to puncture. Even they won’t listen to the utmost of reason. Patrolling throughout the Occupied Zones, partially a regular sight, people steer away from these machine-like men.
Whirlwinds of terror and mystery. The Bureau of Internal Security is an organization established directly after the early days of Shiloh were over. The BIS functions as a bridge between worlds. The world of the machine, and the world of the living. It carries out and establishes policies that are the will of BALLASK, or rarely, RAPTURE. It communicates for them, and keeps peace. The BIS at its surface may sound noble. But it has a grueling past. The BIS has a second side. That of its vapid surveillance and torture.
Working where the SPD doesn’t, the BIS enforced hardcore searches of betrayal and outcasts within the ranks of the Agibol Brigade, RDG, and SPD. However, these numbers are extremely small, thus the organization doesn’t serve this simple action. The BIS specified in wiping off the biggest criminals from the face of the earth. Re-Education, direct security, spywork, and SpecOps. Its brutal history of reworking minds has scared most petty criminals off from becoming full time gangsters.
The most notorious of its branches is ‘Integration.’ Known for sweeping up people off the streets after specifically spying on specifically one person. Integration are brutally efficient in understanding and blending in with environments. One person has been the cause of organized crime falling. This is without mentioning their horrid work within Re-Education. They have been given the nickname, Tuners. Just as you’d gently tune an instrument.
